Photographic Exhibition on Icelandic territory: energy, glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, hot springs, nature, fauna ..

From February 26 to March 13, 2010

Milan, Piazza San Carlo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

 

An exhibition of photos through thirty art helps discover the different forms of energy flowing from the land of Iceland and the many benefits that the local population draws through sustainable use.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Kristjan Moller - Icelandic Minister for Communications and Municipal Affairs, and Thori Ibsen Ambassador of Iceland.

Curated by Sigurdur Thorsteinsson and Volcano Explorations, The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, in collaboration with Promos - Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Milan City Council (Industry International Relations) and the Consulate General Honorary d 'Iceland in Milan.

The photos of Marco Stoppato and Amanda Ronzoni, with the help of photographers Iceland Kristjan Maak, Baldur Pan, Haukur Snorrason and Bernhard Ingimurdarson.

They allow travel between the original majestic beauty of Iceland: glaciers, geysers, volcanoes and magnificent waterfalls that enrich the natural landscape of a fascinating land and untouched.
